The Chile international continues to be linked with a move to the Red Devils ahead of the January transfer window as Louis van Gaal looks to bolster his midfield.
Under the aspect of training and the intensity of Arturo, there is nothing to say. There is no case with Vidal
Allegri fuelled reports Vidal could leave the Turin side after omitting the 25-year-old midfielder from his starting line up for their 3-2 victory over title rivals Roma this month.
But the Juventus manager reiterated he decided to leave out the Chilean due to tactical reasons, rubbishing the suggestion Vidal was dropped ahead of a January move.
“First, against Roma he has been left out because, with the return of Pirlo, I needed a more tactical player, Marchisio,” Allegri told Corriere della Sera.
“Every now and then the guys do something stupid. They need to understand when they afford it and especially now, with mobile phones, photographers everywhere.
“Under the aspect of training and the intensity of Arturo, there is nothing to say. There is no case with Vidal.”
Vidal has scored two goals in five Serie A appearances this season after recovering from a knee injury which hampered his World Cup campaign.
