Serge Gnabry promises to “always stay positive” after the Germany forward returned to Arsenal training on Monday.

The 19-year-old winger hasn’t featured for the Gunners since picking up a long-term knee injury in March.

Gnabry saw his impressive breakthrough season curbed by the setback after scoring his first goal against Swansea City in September.

The former Stuttgart man was rewarded for his impressive impact at the north London side with a new five-year deal.

And Gnabry is looking forward to making his return to Arsene Wenger’s side after training at London Colney on Monday.

“Back in Full training with the Team after a Long recovery. Always stay positive,” Gnabry posted on Instagram.

The Gunners forward has netted one goal in 14 appearances during two seasons in Wenger’s first-team.

Gnabry, who moved to Arsenal from Stuttgart in 2011, has scored three goals in five Germany Under-19 appearances.
