Suso took to Instagram on Thursday night to tell Liverpool fans that his recovery from groin surgery is progressing well.

The 20-year-old playmaker picked up the problem earlier this month, joining Daniel Sturridge, Glen Johnson, Joe Allen, Emre Can and Jon Flanagan on the treatment table at Anfield.

Suso posted a photo of himself after his operation, along with the message: “Good night to everyone… Everything is going better.. Slowly but better.”

The Liverpool forward’s future has been a source of speculation in recent weeks amid reported interest from Serie A giants AC Milan.

Suso scored his first Liverpool goal last month after netting in extra-time against Middlesbrough before converting two penalties in the shootout.

The Spain Under-21 international joined Liverpool from Cadiz in 2010, making his first-team debut under Brendan Rodgers against Young Boyes in 2012.
