Theo Walcott has taken to Instagram to reveal his delight at making his return to full Arsenal training on Monday.

The England international was pictured in action at the Gunners’ London Colney training base ahead of a potential return in Saturday’s clash with Hull City.

Walcott has not featured for Arsenal since picking up a knee ligament injury in January and missed the World Cup after undergoing surgery.

But the forward appeared to be in good spirits on Monday, posting the picture above on Instagram and writing: “First full training session after 9 months – feeling good!!”

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger confirmed over the weekend that Olivier Giroud was “ahead of schedule” as he continues his recovery from a broken leg.

“Olivier Giroud is recovering very well,” Wenger said. “I believe he is ahead of schedule in terms of rehabilitation. The operation went perfectly.”
