Aaron Ramsey has heaped yet more praise on Alexis Sanchez after the Chilean helped fire Arsenal to victory over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.

The £35m summer signing netted the Gunners’ second goal to add to Yaya Sanogo’s opener as Arsene Wenger’s men ran out 2-0 winners at Emirates Stadium.

And midfielder Ramsey has been thoroughly impressed by Sanchez’s impact since his move from Barcelona.

“He works so hard for the team and when he gets an opportunity to score, he scores,” said Ramsey of Sanchez, who has already scored 13 goals this season.

“It took him a couple of games to get into it, but he has not stopped scoring since.

“The thing which has impressed me most about him is his work-rate off the ball. With the South American players, it is sort of bred into them to work hard.

“He is no different to any of the other players like Luis Suarez or Sergio Aguero, so we are grateful to have him in our team.”
