Javier Hernandez took to Instagram on Friday to wish David De Gea a happy birthday.

The Manchester United shot-stopper turned 24 on Friday and was sent wishes by the likes of Juan Mata and Marcos Rojo on social media.

And Hernandez, who joined Real Madrid on loan from United over the summer, took to Instagram on Friday night to add his wishes to the mix.

Hernandez posted the picture above and wrote: “Brother @d_degeaofficial I wish you spent an amazing day !!! I miss you !!! #YaEstasViejo”

The 26-year-old forward has scored three goals and made one assist in La Liga for Real Madrid so far this season.

He was a late substitute in last week’s 1-0 Champions League win over Liverpool at the Bernabeu.
