Gary Linker has branded Tottenham Hotspur “consistently useless” after Spurs lost 2-1 to Stoke City at The Britannia.

Tottenham have lost four of their five Premier League games following a Europa League outing on a Thursday night.

And the club’s former striker Lineker blasted Mauricio Pochettino’s men after their fifth defeat of the season.

Former Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic broke the deadlock in the sixth minute at White Hart Lane.

Republic of Ireland international Jonathan Walters doubled the away side’s advantage 12 minutes before half-time.

Spurs midfielder Nacer Chadli netted a 77th-minute strike to offer late hope, but the Potters held on to secure three points.
