Lacazette has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, with both the Reds and the Gunners understood to be keeping tabs on the 23-year-old.
The France international has been in fine form this season, scoring 21 goals in Ligue 1 to fire Lyon to the top of the Premier League table.
However, amid reports that Lacazette could be set for a summer transfer to the Premier League, Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has insisted that the player is going nowhere.
“Alexandre is not for sale,” Aulas said in an interview with beIN Sports.
“He is part of the generation of players we want to take to the new stadium. He will not be for sale and he will not leave.”
Lacazette penned a two-year extension to his contract with Lyon last year to tie him down to the French club until 2018.
However, that has done little to quell the speculation linking him with a move to England, with defending champions Manchester City also said to be interested.
