Grigor Dimitrov joined Santiago Gonzalez and Daniela Hantuchova as they took some time away from the court on Monday to visit La Quebrada, the official cliff diving site in Acapulco.

The trio, who are all in action in Acapulco this week, were on hand as they watched the professional divers show off their skills.

Dimitrov, however, wanted to experience the 35-metre jump himself and bravely gave it a go.

“A lot was going through my mind,” Dimitrov told the ATP Tour’s website.

““The first was preparation. It was all about preparation.

“The first time you look down, you sort of discourage yourself, but at the same time, I was really composed. I like extreme sports in general, so today was a really good day for me!”
