The Germany international was heavily linked with a switch to the FA Cup winners last summer, however a move failed to materialise as Arsene Wenger failed to significantly strengthen his midfield.
The Arsenal manager has turned to 23-year-old French midfielder Francis Coquelin to shield his defence in recent months, and the youngster has helped the Gunners seal famous wins at The Etihad and Old Trafford already this year.
Although Khedira continues to be linked with a move to the Premier League, former Middlesbrough man and Bundesliga expert Flitfroft has claimed that the Los Blancos has agreed a deal to join Schalke in the summer.
Looks like Khedira going to Schalke. Many English clubs have followed him, but for excample Arsenal decided "not going for him"

Khedira’s Germany team-mate Mesut Ozil moved to the north London outfit in a club-record £42.5m deal from Madrid in 2013.
The World Cup winner has made just 17 appearances in all competitions for Los Blancos this season after falling out-of-favour under Real Madrid manager Carlo Anecelotti.
Khedira has won La Liga, the Champions League and the Copa del Rey since moving to the Spanish capital from Stuttgart in 2010.
