The 19-year-old Spaniard has been a regular fixture in the Gunners’ first-team this season following first-choice right-back Mathieu Debuchy’s spells on the sidelines due to injury.
Bellerin has made nine Premier League starts for the north London side and scored his first senior goal for the club in the 5-0 thrashing of Aston Villa last month.
Bellerin’s emergence at Emirates Stadium has raised questions about Carl Jenkinson’s future at the club, with the Englishman set to return from a loan spell at West Ham United at the end of the season.
Wenger was asked whether Bellerin had been offered a new deal and if that would affect Jenkinson’s role at the club.
And the Frenchman told a news conference on Friday morning: “To the first part of the question I’ll answer yes.
“And will it impact Carl Jenkinson? At the moment, in my head, no.”
