The 25-year-old scored against Italy in England’s opening game of the summer competition, but Sturridge failed to find the net again as Roy Hodgson’s side crashed out of the Brazil tournament at the group-stage.
However, Reds striker Sturridge appeared to enjoy spending some time with his fellow Liverpool team-mate Raheem Sterling and Arsenal forward Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, taking part in Flashback Friday on the photo-sharing app.
Sturridge wrote: “Flashback to the World Cup with my bro’s. Caption this.”
Sturridge has endured an injury-hit campaign so far, scoring three in nine Premier League appearances this season.
The England international missed the best part of five months of the season due to a string of calf and thigh injuries.
The former Manchester City striker made his return to action in February, scoring on his return in a 2-0 win against West Ham United at Anfield.
