Joao Moutinho took to social media on Tuesday night to post a picture of Monaco’s triumphant squad after he helped the Ligue 1 side knock Arsenal out of the Champions League.

Goals from Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey handed Arsenal a 2-0 win at Stade Louis II on the night, but Monaco progressed to the quarter-finals on away goals after their 3-1 first-leg win at Emirates Stadium last month.

The 28-year-old Moutinho played the full 90 minutes in both games as Monaco booked their place in the last eight of Europe’s elite club competition.

And the Portugal international posted the picture above of him and his team-mates in the dressing room after their European triumph over Arsene Wenger’s men.

Moutinho shared the photo above and wrote: “Allez @asmonaco! Quartos de final da Champions!”
