Radamel Falcao took to social media on Monday afternoon to express his delight at helping Manchester United seal an impressive 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

The Colombia international was a late substitute at Old Trafford as the Red Devils took a step closer to Champions League qualification with victory over Spurs.

First-half goals from Marouane Fellaini, Michael Carrick and Wayne Rooney handed Louis van Gaal’s men victory as they won to stay in fourth place in the Premier League table.

And Falcao was clearly delighted to play a small part in the win, as he posted the picture above on his Instagram account and wrote: “Great win for the team yesterday against Tottenham. We’ll keep fighting! @manchesterunited.”

Falcao has struggled to find consistent form for United since his loan move to Old Trafford from Monaco last summer.

He has only scored four goals and made four assists in 18 Premier League games for the Red Devils and has not started a game since the win over Sunderland back in February.
