France will need all the hands on deck when Philippe Saint-Andre’s men face England at Twickenham on Saturday, and Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud appears to have auditioned for the No10 role.

Although the Arsenal striker scored at Stade Louis II on Tuesday night, the north Londoners crashed out of the Champions League after failing to score a third goal which would have sealed their passage to the last-eight.

Giroud, who stands at 6ft 4ins, has been one of Arsene Wenger’s more impressive players in recent weeks after a credible return of seven goals in his last 10 games in all competitions.

And the France international looks like he’d make a rather handy fly-half after the 28-year-old showed off his expert keepy uppy skills with the oval-shaped ball during this clip uploaded on the World Rugby’s YouTube channel.

Meanwhile, Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker could rival the likes of Paul O’Connell and Joe Launchbury with his ability at the lineout. Unfortunately for Per, though, the Germany rugby team won’t be at the Rugby World Cup this September.
