Tottenham Hotspur managed just one shot on target at Old Trafford on Sunday, so the Spurs squad worked on their accuracy with a game of crossbar tyre challenge during training on Tuesday.

The competition was fierce amongst the Tottenham players, particularly with in-form Harry Kane and expert free-kick taker Christian Eriksen taking part in the challenge.

Whilst the Tottenham striker and Denmark international came close, and Jan Vertonghen and Eric Dier also launched credible efforts, it was Danny Rose who won the competition in style.

The England Under-21 international guided a delicious curling shot around the makeshift wall and through the tyre hanging from the top left-hand corner of the goal.

Nabil Bentaleb, meanwhile, attempted to dupe his team-mates into believing that he also landed a successful effort, despite barely managing to get the ball off the ground.

Eriksen, who has scored nine Premier League goals this season, could well face competition from 24-year-old Rose if Tottenham get a free-kick in a tempting position against Leicester at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
