Luke Shaw became the latest Manchester United player to take to social media to thank the Old Trafford faithful for their support this season.

Louis van Gaal’s side played their final home fixture of the campaign on Sunday as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Arsenal at Old Trafford.

Shaw missed the game through injury but the left-back was still at the ground to thank fans for their support throughout the season.

The England international shared the picture above on his Instagram account on Monday evening and wrote: “Thank you for all your amazing support this season! Can’t wait to get back to Old Trafford next season #MUFC”

Shaw has made 16 Premier League appearances for United since his transfer to the club from Southampton last summer. He also made four appearances for Van Gaal’s men in the FA Cup.

Manchester United, who secured a top-four finish and a route into next season’s Champions League this weekend, conclude their Premier League campaign with a trip to Hull City this weekend.
