Nacer Chadli was delighted with his 13th goal of the season as Tottenham Hotspur were 2-0 winners against Hull City at White Hart Lane.

The Belgium international broke the deadlock in the 54th minute after he collected Erik Lamela’s through ball and finished past Hull goalkeeper Steven Harper.

Spurs left-back Danny Rose doubled the home side’s lead shortly after to ensure Mauricio Pochettino signed off at The Lane for the season with a win on Saturday.

Tottenham star Chadli took to Instagram following the comfortable victory to thank Spurs fans for all their support over the course of the season.

Chadli wrote: “Great effort from the team on our final home game… Happy with my 13 th goal of the season thx for the support.”

The 25-year-old has scored 11 goals and has made five assists in 34 Premier League appearances for the north London side this term.

Tottenham club-record signing Lamela also posted a message on the photo-sharing app following the club’s 10th home win in the Premier League.

Lamela posted: “Important home win in the last game in front of our fans.”

The Argentina international has endured a mixed second season at White Hart Lane after having scored two goals and making seven assists in 32 games.
