John Terry is clearly enjoying himself following Chelsea’s recent Premier League title success after the defender played a prank on Gary Cahill on Friday.

The England internationals are one of the division’s most formidable centre-half pairings this season and only Southampton have a better defensive record than Chelsea.

While Cahill and Terry appear to have a telepathic understanding at times, the former Bolton defender didn’t anticipate his team-mate pulling this afternoon’s prank.

The Chelsea captain cheekily set up his camera in position before catching the unsuspecting Cahill unaware in what appears to be the club’s Cobham facility.

Terry wrote: “Have a look at our Big Strong CB @garyjcahill I scared the life out of him as he comes down the stairs at training ”

The Chelsea defender became the highest-scoring defender in Premier League history with 39 goals last weekend, beating David Unsworth’s tally of 38 goals.
