Wayne Rooney saw the funny side of getting upstaged by his young son outside Old Trafford on Sunday.

The Manchester United captain was signing autographs following the club’s final home game of the season, which United drew 1-1 with bitter rivals Arsenal.

Rooney, who was sidelined for the visit of the Gunners, was joined by his sons, Kai and Klay, on the pitch following the stalemate.

And the United captain uploaded the above humorous video of his eldest son Kai, 5, signing autographs and posing for photos with fans after the match.

Rooney wrote on Instagram: “I stopped to sign some autographs at Old Trafford yesterday and turned around to find Kai doing the same”

Rooney, who was appointed as the club’s new captain at the start of the 2014/15 campaign, has scored 12 goals in 32 Premier League appearances under manager Louis van Gaal.
