Manchester United are to hold a news conference on Friday with Louis van Gaal to unveil summer signing Memphis Depay.

The Netherlands international became the Red Devils’ first signing of the summer when the Premier League side struck up a deal with PSV Eindhoven to sign the player back in May.

Depay, 21, trained with his new team-mates for the first time this week as Van Gaal’s squad began their preparations for the 2015-16 Premier League season.

And the Dutchman will be unveiled to the media on Friday afternoon ahead of United’s pre-season tour to the United States.

Depay was instrumental in PSV ending Ajax’s grip on the Eredivisie trophy after the winger scored 22 goals and made eight assists in 28 top-flight games last season.

He previously played under Red Devils manager Van Gaal in the Dutch set-up and was part of the 63-year-old’s World Cup squad last summer.
