The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a big-money swoop for the German World Cup winners as Louis van Gaal looks to continue bolstering his squad ahead of his second season in charge at Old Trafford.
Reports this week have claimed that United are considering a €100m bid for the player.
However, Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has suggested that the German club have no intention of letting Muller leave the club.
Asked about United’s reported interest in Muller, Rummenigge told SID: “There are players who do not have a price tag.”
United have already snapped up Bastian Schweinsteiger from Bayern Munich this summer as Van Gaal looks to transform his side into genuine Premier League title contenders next season.
The Red Devils, who finished fourth in the Dutchman’s first campaign in charge at the club, kick off their new top-flight season with a home clash against Tottenham Hotspur on the opening weekend.
