Mesut Ozil believes that Arsenal are capable of winning every competition next season as the German gears up for his third campaign with the Gunners.

The 26-year-old has tasted FA Cup success in his first two seasons at the north London club, with Arsenal ended up fourth and third in the Premier League in those campaigns.

The Gunners kick off the 2015-16 campaign with their Community Shield clash against Chelsea at Wembley, before their Premier League opener with West Ham United at Emirates Stadium the following week.

And World Cup winner Ozil is hopeful that the north London side can challenge for honours in all competitions this season following their recent FA Cup triumphs.

Ozil told Arsenal’s website: “I know that I have a lot more potential to show but if you look at the last two years, we’ve been successful and have won the FA Cup twice.

“Every season you need to prove yourself again and I want to do that again this time.

“I want to help the team as much as I can. Ultimately we have a strong team that can win everything. Our aim is to be more successful this season than we were in the last.”

Ozil, who missed three months of last season with a knee injury, scored Arsenal’s third goal in their 3-1 Barclays Asia Trophy win over Everton on Saturday in Singapore.

The Gunners take on Lyon on Saturday and Wolfsburg on Sunday in the Emirates Cup at the Gunners’ home ground.
