Calum Chambers took to social media on Friday afternoon to reveal his excitement ahead of Arsenal’s involvement in this weekend’s Emirates Cup.

The Gunners are set to take on Lyon and Wolfsburg this weekend as Arsene Wenger’s men continue their preparations for the forthcoming Premier League season.

Chambers will be hoping to be involved as the England international continues to work on his fitness ahead of the 2015-16 campaign.

The former Southampton star shared the picture of The Emirates above on his Instagram account and wrote: “Missed this place! Looking forward to coming back here on the weekend and seeing all the fans! #AFC #EmiratesCup”

Chambers scored one goal and made one assist in 23 Premier League games for Arsenal last season following his arrival at the north London club from Southampton last summer.

Arsenal, who finished third and won the FA Cup last term, kick off their Premier League campaign with a home clash against West Ham United on the opening weekend of the season as they look to challenge for the top-flight title.
