Marouane Fellaini is something of a food critic after he tucked into the best grub in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

The Manchester United midfielder is currently stateside after the towering Belgium international returned from his trip to Japan with New Balance.

Fellaini uploaded a snap from a sushi dinner on his Instagram page during his promotional trip to the Asian country.

And the 28-year-old United playmaker appears to be something of a food critic judging by his latest post on the photo-sharing app.

Fellaini wrote: “Best food in town with @GaelleGD & @itsjustdom_ #LA #Madeo #italian”

The former Everton man posed with some chefs and his brother for an Instagram snap following his sushi snack last week.

Fellaini wrote: “Here i am with my new balance team in japan eating sushi @NBFootball_JP”

The United star scored six goals in 25 Premier League appearances under Dutch coach Van Gaal this season.

The Belgium international has become an important part of the United team in recent months and has racked up just under 2,000 minutes of first-team action in the Premier League this term.

Fellaini was initially an unpopular signing with United fans after David Moyes snapped up the midfielder in a £27.5m deal from Everton in 2013.
