Roberto Soldado took to social media on Friday afternoon to reveal his delight at being back “at the office” at Tottenham’s training ground following his summer holiday.

The Spurs forward has been enjoying some downtime in the last few weeks after helping Mauricio Pochettino’s men wrap up a fifth-placed finish in the Premier League last season.

Soldado reported to Spurs’ training ground on Friday as the Lilywhites prepare to begin their pre-season preparations ahead of the 2015-16 campaign.

The Spaniard posted the picture above of himself on his Instagram account and wrote: “Back at the office.”

Soldado scored four goals and made one assist in 31 appearances in all competitions last season for the north Londoners.

The Spanish striker has made just 17 starts for the League Cup runners-up, though, being used largely as an option from the bench.

The former Valencia man managed to score six goals in all competitions in the 2013-14 campaign for Spurs.
