The Chile international has been in sublime form for Arsenal in recent weeks and scored his sixth goal in his last three Premier League games as the Gunners beat Watford 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Sanchez is already the early favourite to succeed Chelsea star Hazard as this season’s PFA player of the year.
And Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta is expecting the 26-year-old forward to continue to improve as the season develops.
Arteta told IBTimes UK this week: ‘Alexis’ best moment is yet to come because he always want to improve, he is always looking for more.
“After the summer holidays, he struggled a little bit but he’s currently in very good form and with great confidence. With the ambition he has, he’s certainly going to go further.
“Last year, he was already a key player for us. He has what it takes to be the best player in the Premier League. I’m sure about that.”
Arsenal return to Premier League action with a home clash against Everton on Saturday evening.
Victory for the Gunners could move Arsene Wenger’s men top of the Premier League table ahead of Sunday’s Manchester derby at Old Trafford.
The north London side currently sit two points behind leaders Manchester City after nine games.
