The Gunners secured a morale-boosting 2-0 victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.
In the long-term to win the Premier League, you need a consistency, but they don’t have that
Arsene Wenger’s side have won their last three games in all competitions after beating Manchester United, Watford and Bayern without conceding a goal.
However, former United midfielder Giles has his doubts over Arsenal’s Premier League title credentials due to their poor defensive organisation.
“They’re going to be inconsistent,” Giles told Newstalk’s Off The Ball.
“If they’re defending that they do and it hasn’t been put right yet, they’re going to continue to do that. There will be an inconsistency about them that Chelsea didn’t have last year. The way they defend, you’ll find results going against them that you wouldn’t expect.

Arsenal can hoist themselves above Manchester City and into top spot in the Premier League table with victory over Everton on Saturday ahead of Sunday’s Manchester derby.
The Gunners have collected 18 points from a possible 27 after nine Premier League games this season, losing just twice against Chelsea and West Ham United.
Arsenal have suffered a home loss to Everton in the Premier League since 1996.
