Eden Hazard has been dropped to the bench by Jose Mourinho for Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.

The Belgian playmaker has been relegated to the bench for the visit of the Villains along with Nemanja Matic, Oscar and Gary Cahill.

Cesc Fabregas starts in midfield along with Willian, Ramires, Pedro and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

John Terry starts in central defence alongside Kurt Zouma, while Branislav Ivanovic is not in the squad after he suffered an injury while on international duty with Serbia.

Chelsea head into the game looking to get back to winning ways after their 3-1 loss to Southampton left Jose Mourinho’s men 10 points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City.

The Blues have lost four of their eight Premier League games heading into the clash at Stamford Bridge.
