Fancy a breakfast with no sugar, a huge helping of protein and low in fat? Try a bowl of porridge.

Online health retailer MuscleFood.com have developed a new range of protein porridge that guarantees to keep you going until lunchtime.

The oats contain no sugars unlike other leading competitors, sweetened instead by natural sugars.

A serving will pack a punch with 25g of protein in a bowl, which is the equivalent to just over two servings of scrambled eggs on toast.

The protein comes from whey protein isolate, derived from free-range grass-fed cattle.

The porridge comes in 1kg, 2.5kg bags and also 75g mini pots for when you’re on the go.

The porridge comes in four different flavours, original, unsweetened, apple and cinnamon and strawberry and apple.

Darren Beale from MuscleFood.com said: “It is recommended that you start the day with a source of protein as it keeps your body going until lunchtime. But not all of us have time for eggs in the morning or don’t really fancy meat.

“This porridge is a great way to get your protein fix that’s low calorie, high in nutrients and without any nasty preservatives you often find in other brands.”
