Lingard helped United to see out a comfortable victory thanks to goals from Morgan Schneiderlin, Ander Herrera and captain Wayne Rooney.
The Red Devils youngster underlined his desire to get more minutes under his belt after his first appearance of the season.
“I want to be doing this week-in, week-out, playing for Manchester United,” Lingard told Sky Sports.
“I have got to be patient and wait for my time. But it’s great that I got 45 minutes against Everton.
“For the first 10 minutes I was blowing a bit but I got my second wind and then got comfortable. It’s great to be back and help the team in any way I can.”
Lingard finished with a 77 per cent pass success rate in United’s 3-0 victory over Everton on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils travel to CSKA Moscow in the Champions League on Tuesday night before they entertain Manchester City in Sunday’s derby at Old Trafford.
The 20-time English champions are in third place in the Premier League table after a collecting 19 points from their opening nine games.
