Bastian Schweinsteiger has taken to social media to urge Manchester United to victory at Everton on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils head to Goodison Park looking to return to winning ways after their disappointing 3-0 loss to Arsenal in their most recent top-flight outing before the international break.

And Schweinsteiger is clearly determined to help Louis van Gaal’s men bounce back from that defeat against the Toffees on Saturday.

The Germany international posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Premier League again. Focused on today’s match against Everton! #mufc”

Everton have a good recent record against the Red Devils and have won three successive home meetings in the league with Manchester United, most recently a 3-0 victory in April.

The Merseyside outfit were the last team to win four consecutive home league matches against United, between 1984 and 1987.

United’s form on the road is a cause for concern, with the Red Devils having lost four of their last eight away games in the league.
