United head into Sunday’s showdown in third place in the Premier League table and two points behind leaders City. A win would move them above their local rivals.

The Red Devils were held to a 1-1 draw by CSKA Moscow in the Champions League in midweek after their 3-0 win over Everton in the top flight last weekend.
