Gary Cahill and John Terry were all smiles as they posed for a picture on their flight back to the UK after Chelsea’s goalless draw against Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

The defensive pair both played the full 90 minutes as Jose Mourinho’s men were unable to find the breakthrough against their opponents despite hitting the woodwork twice.

However, despite failing to secure a win, both Terry and Cahill looked to be in good spirits as they jetted back to the UK with the rest of the Chelsea squad on Tuesday night.

And the pair had a copy of Steven Gerrard’s new autobiography to keep them entertained on the flight home.

Cahill posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Heading back home ✈️ @johnterry.26 #championsleague #cfc”
