Gabriel Paulista has taken to social media to wish Mesut Ozil a happy birthday after the Arsenal playmaker turned 27 on Thursday.

The Germany international celebrated on Thursday after returning to the north London club following his involvement on helping his national side secure qualification for Euro 2016.

And Gabriel was quick to pay tribute to his team-mate, by posting a picture of the duo celebrating Arsenal’s FA Cup triumph at Wembley back in May.

Gabriel shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Happy birthday to @m10_official , have a good one brother!”

Both Ozil and Gabriel will be hoping to feature when Arsenal return to action with a trip to Watford in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

The Gunners head into the game on the back of their impressive 3-0 win over Manchester United in their most recent outing.

That win left Arsene Wenger’s men in second place in the table and just two points behind leaders Manchester City after eight games.
