Juan Mata was all smiles ahead of a big week for Manchester United.

The Red Devils make the long trip to Russia to face CSKA Moscow in the Champions League before Manchester City are the visitors at Old Trafford in the Premier League next Sunday.

Louis van Gaal’s side returned to winning ways on Saturday thanks to a 3-0 victory over Everton at Goodison Park.

And Mata, who didn’t get on the score sheet against the Tofffes, snapped a selfie which United uploaded on their Instagram page on Monday evening.

The Red Devils wrote the following caption: “A Champions League clash and the Manchester derby – what a great week to look forward to! 😆 #HappyMonday #mufc”

While CSKA Moscow beat PSV 3-2 to pick up their first points in Group B, United also recovered from a losing start in the group as they came from behind to defeat Wolfsburg 2-1 at Old Trafford last time out.

It was on 21 October 2009 that the clubs met for the first time in Moscow, where United’s Antonio Valencia scored the only goal after 86 minutes.

Valencia got a 92nd-minute equaliser as United came from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 when the teams met at Old Trafford on 3 November. Vasili Berezutski and Alan Dzagoev were among the scorers for CSKA.
