Should Roberto Firmino be shown the door already? Photo: Football Fanager

Dejan Lovren, Roberto Firmino and Joe Allen should all be shown the door by new Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, according to stats from Football Fanager.

The fantasy football site has produced an infographic that shows the success of former manager Brendan Rodgers’ most expensive signings, and it doesn’t make pleasant reading throughout.

Croatian defender Lovren was bought for a reported £20m last summer but has an average of just 0.8 tackles and 1.4 interceptions per game.

In contrast, fellow centre back Mamadou Sakho has made 2.3 tackles and two interceptions per game, while right back Nathaniel Clyne has made 2.8 tackles and 1.9 interceptions per game.

Liverpool spent around £29m on Roberto Firmino but the Brazilian is yet to impress. While Christian Benteke has two goals from six appearances, Firmino has none. He has also completed just 19.5 passes per game.

The Kop faithful have long been frustrated with £15m man, Joe Allen. The Welsh midfielder has made just two substitute appearances this season.

Klopp’s first weekend preparation has already been rocked by the news that one of the brighter lights so far this campaign, Danny Ings, has been ruled out for the season with a knee injury.

Liverpool travel to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime.
