The Brazilian striker joined the west London club from Corinthians on loan until the end of the season on Friday night but it appears that he will not be involved in Sunday’s FA Cup clash.
Pato trained with his Chelsea team-mates for the first time on Saturday morning at the west London club’s Cobham training base.
And the former AC Milan forward was all smiles as he posed for a picture at the club’s training ground on Sunday.
Pato uploaded the picture of himself in Chelsea training kit onto his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Ready to train… @chelseafc #CFC”
The 26-year-old striker has made 27 appearances for the Brazil team, scoring 10 goals, and representing his country at both the 2008 and 2012 Olympics.
Chelsea are currently 13th in the Premier League table after a disastrous start to their title defence led to Jose Mourinho’s sacking in December.
Pato will be hoping to be involved in their next Premier League game, which is a trip to Watford on Wednesday night.
