Andy Gray looks ahead to Liverpool's FA Cup fourth-round clash with West Ham on Saturday night

Andy Gray is expecting to see Liverpool be held to a 2-2 draw by West Ham United in Saturday evening’s FA Cup clash at Anfield.

The Reds head into the game fresh from their dramatic penalty shootout win over Stoke City in the League Cup semi-final second leg at Anfield on Tuesday night.

Jurgen Klopp’s men have struggled to produce consistent performances since the German coach’s appointment as Brendan Rodgers’ successor back in October.

Klopp watched his side edge to a dramatic 5-4 victory over Norwich City in their most recent Premier League outing last weekend.

However, former Everton man Gray is tipping the Hammers to force a replay at Upton Park by securing a draw on Merseyside on Saturday evening.

Writing in his blog for Paddy Power, Gray said: “Jurgen Klopp knows what it takes to win a cup competition as shown above with Dortmund. But he’s slowly learning the demands that come with being in two cup competitions as his team is being stretched.

“I don’t expect him to make loads of changes, maybe just three to freshen up his side. West Ham will not be scared of Anfield. It won’t be popular on Merseyside, but I’m calling a draw.”

Klopp has been tasked with guiding Liverpool back into the top four this season after the Reds finished sixth last season under Rodgers.
