Andy Gray is tipping Chelsea to be held to a 1-1 draw by Everton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues have struggled to find consistent form this season and head into the game in 14th place in the Premier League table, 12 points behind Tottenham in fourth.

Guus Hiddink watched his side be held to a 2-2 draw by West Bromwich Albion in midweek as they again stuttered in front of their home fans in the Premier League.

The Blues host the Toffees needing a win to start climbing the Premier League table and keep alive any faint hopes of clawing back a top-four finish this season.

However, former Everton man Gray is backing the Toffees to take a point from Saturday’s game and further frustrate the Stamford Bridge faithful.

Gray wrote in his blog for Paddy Power: “These two both drew midweek, but there couldn’t have been a bigger contrast.

“Chelsea threw away a lead, Everton were stubborn against Manchester City despite a stonewall penalty.

“This is difficult to predict. Chelsea are still looking for belief, while Everton have drawn too many games. I think a repeat performance and a repeat result from the Toffees.”
