Piers Morgan could not help but aim a dig at Chelsea after their 3-3 draw with Everton on Saturday

Piers Morgan could not help but poke fun at Chelsea after the Blues drew 3-3 with Everton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

After a goalless first half in west London, Everton went 2-0 up shortly after half-time thanks to John Terry’s own goal and Kevin Mirallas’ strike.

However, Guus Hiddink’s men fought back and goals from Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas made it 2-2 at Stamford Bridge.

Everton looked like they were heading towards three points when substitute Ramiro Funes Mori scored from close range.

But Blues captain John Terry equalised deep into stoppage time to salvage a point for the hosts.

Hiddink had warned his Chelsea players that they cannot escape the fact that the club is in a relegation battle.

And Arsenal fan Morgan was quick to react on Twitter after Chelsea dropped points in front of their home fans for the second game in succession.

The draw left Chelsea languishing in 14th place in the Premier League table and just seven points above the relegation zone.
