Spurs have enjoyed a positive start to the new season and have been one of the Premier League’s most consistent sides so far this term.
The Lilywhites came from a goal down to earn a 1-1 draw at Everton on Sunday afternoon to keep them in fourth place in the Premier League table after 20 games.
Many have been tipping Spurs as possible outsiders to mount a Premier League title challenge in the second half of the season, despite Mauricio Pochettino being mainly concerned with guiding his side to a top-four finish and Champions League qualification.
And Arsenal legend Wright admits that there are not many players from the current Gunners side who would earn a regular spot in their bitter local rivals’ starting line-up.
Wright told BBC Radio 5 Live’s 606 programme: “Sanchez is getting in there, and I’d put Ozil in there at the moment. I’d put Cech in there in front of [Hugo] Lloris, [Nacho] Monreal at left-back, and [Hector] Bellerin in there [at right-back] over Kyle [Walker].
“What we’ll do is just put the Arsenal team in there and call them Tottenham.
“But [seriously] Sanchez and Mesut [Ozil]. I think those two would definitely get in.”
