John Barnes states his prediction for Liverpool v West Ham

John Barnes is expecting to see Liverpool seal a 2-1 victory over West Ham on Saturday

John Barnes is tipping Liverpool to book their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup with a 2-1 win over West Ham United on Saturday afternoon.

Jurgen Klopp’s side head into the game fresh from booking their place in the League Cup final thanks to their dramatic penalty shootout win over Stoke City on Tuesday.

The Reds have struggled to find consistent form since Klopp was appointed as manager back in October.

Liverpool moved up to seventh place in the Premier League table with a thrilling 5-4 win over Norwich City last weekend.

And former Liverpool striker Barnes is expecting to see the Reds make it back to back cup wins by securing a narrow victory over the Hammers at Anfield on Saturday.

Writing in his blog for Titanbet, Barnes said: “As much as West Ham will be confident going into this after their recent wins over Liverpool, I think the home side will take great heart from getting to a cup final in the week and putting a few goals past Norwich, so I can see a win for Klopp.”

Klopp has been tasked with guiding Liverpool back into the top four after the Reds finished sixth last season under Brendan Rodgers.
