John Terry has taken to social media to pay tribute to Ramires after the midfielder confirmed his Chelsea exit on Wednesday.

The Brazilian midfielder, who joined Chelsea from Benfica back in 2010, left the west London club to join Chinese side Jiangsu Suning in a big-money deal.

Playing alongside Chelsea captain Terry, Ramires has helped the Blues win the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League and Europa League during his spell at the club.

And Terry was quick to pay tribute to the departing midfielder with a tribute on his personal Instagram account.

Terry shared the photo above on Wednesday night and wrote: “Very sad to see @rami7oficial leave the club. Great player and a great man. Good luck mate @chelseafc”

Ramires made 251 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions, scoring 34 goals for the Blues.
