Manchester United are planning a double transfer bid to sign Harry Kane and Dele Alli from Tottenham, according to reports.

The Spurs duo have been in fine form for the north London club this season and have earned plenty of new admirers as they have helped the Lilywhites up to fourth place in the Premier League table.

United are believed to be on the lookout for attacking reinforcements following the Red Devils’ stuttering displays in recent weeks.

Louis van Gaal’s side have only won two of their last 10 Premier League games and United are looking to bring in players of proven quality.

Now, the Daily Star is reporting that both Alli and Kane are on the club’s transfer shortlist – and that United have had scouts at Tottenham’s last four games to watch the duo in action.

The same report claims that Spurs have no intention of selling their star duo, but that United will still make advances for the pair.
