Michael Owen is expecting Tottenham Hotspur to coast to victory over Colchester on Saturday to book their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Spurs head into the game in fine form, having moved to within five points of Premier League leaders Leicester City thanks to their 3-1 win over Crystal Palace last weekend.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men made the most of a rare week off to train in Barcelona before jetting back to the UK on Wednesday afternoon.

And former Liverpool striker Owen is fully expecting to see Spurs secure an easy win to nil against Colchester in the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.

Writing in his column for Bet Victor, Owen said: “The Us haven’t won since beating Charlton in the third Round and I don’t expect them to stop the Premier League side, who have won their last three in all competitions and continue to impress.”
