Arsene Wenger was all smiles as he posed for a picture with Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Chukwueze as the pair close in on January transfers to Arsenal.

The Nigerian duo are believed to be close to joining the north London club before Monday’s transfer deadline as Wenger moves to bring the teenagers to the club.

Speaking at his news conference ahead of Arsenal’s FA Cup clash with Burnley on Friday morning, Wenger confirmed that he was hopeful all the necessary paperwork could be completed to allow the duo to move to the Premier League outfit this month.

And it appears that the pair are closing in on their transfers to Arsenal, if this photo posted by Colin Udoh is anything to go by.

The picture shows the two players alongside Arsene Wenger and Arsenal chief Ivan Gazidis, as well as former Gunners striker Nwankwo Kanu.
