John Terry sent a heartfelt message to Chelsea supporters after their thrilling 3-3 draw with Everton on Saturday evening.

The Chelsea captain’s own goal and Belgium international Kevin Mirallas’s brilliant strike put Everton 2-0 up at Stamford Bridge.

However, the defending chmapions scored twice in quick succession to level the game thanks to Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas’ deflected goal.

But Roberto Martinez’s side appeared to have secured three points when Funes Mori converted Gerard Deulofeu’s cross past Thibaut Courtois.

Terry, though, scored in the eighth minute of added time to rescue a point for the reigning Premier League champions in west London.

The Chelsea skipper posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

“If I could have climbed in amongst everyone and hugged you all I would have. Always dreamed of diving in the Mathew Harding and the booking was so worth it. 👊🏻 At 2-0 I watched everyone standing up and singing and getting behind the team. Unbelievable support and the way we got back in the game was excellent. Thank you 👏👏👏 Well done @diego.costa and @cescf4bregas on their goals ⚽️⚽️ @chelseafc”

Guus Hiddink’s Chelsea side are five points clear of the relegation zone following their six-goal thriller at Stamford Bridge.
