The Czech Republic international has been sidelined for most of the Premier League season due to a knee injury which required an operation in the summer.
However, the 34-year-old trained with Arsene Wenger’s first-team on Saturday afternoon to hand the north London side a timely boost ahead of their clash at the Britannia Stadium.
Flamini, who has enjoyed a run in Wenger’s starting line-up due to injuries to Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin, was thrilled to have Rosicky back in first-team training.
The France midfielder posted the above photo and wrote the following caption: “Final training session before tomorrow’s game at Stoke City. Great to have my old friend Tomas Rosicky back..!!😀 #arsenal #gunners #premierleague”
Arsenal are in second place in the Premier League table after Leicester City’s 1-1 draw with Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday evening.
The Gunners haven’t won against the Potters at The Britannia since February 2010.
