Alexandre Pato was all smiles as he trained with his new Chelsea team-mates for the first time on Saturday.

The Brazilian striker signed for the west London club on loan from Corinthians until the end of the season on Friday and could make his Chelsea debut in Sunday’s clash with MK Dons in the FA Cup.

Pato trained with the Blues at Cobham on Saturday as Guus Hiddink’s men completed their final preparations for their FA Cup clash.

And the forward appears to have slotted in well to life at the club, if his latest post on social media is anything to go by.

Pato posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “First training with my mates… @chelseafc #CVC #london #Chelsea #wintoday”

Pato has made 27 appearances for the Brazil team, scoring 10 goals, and representing his country at both the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games.

Betfair are offering new customers enhanced odds of 4/1 on Chelsea to beat MK Dons on Sunday. Click here to sign up now.

The 26-year-old joins Chelsea to bolster the west London club’s attacking options after a disappointing season for the Blues.
